Employment
Verizon, Consultant, Corporate Social Responsibility
At Verizon, I’ve spent the last two years streamlining employee engagement and communication efforts related to social responsibility and volunteerism. Employees are any brand’s greatest asset, and I’ve helped inspire more than 70% of Verizon employees to engage in the businesses’ socially responsible business practices through emotional story telling and compelling marketing and communication campaigns.
Rutgers University Foundation, Assistant Director, Annual Giving
At RUF, I spent almost five years synthesizing the university’s social impact efforts and transforming them into persuasive marketing communications. In this role, I had my hand in storytelling, communication and marketing, relationship building across all levels of the university, and effective project management. This giving program motivated more than half a million Rutgers alumni to be a catalyst for change in New Jersey and around the world.
American Cancer Society, Community Development Manager
At ACS, I strategically lead large community-based fundraising initiatives with a primary focus on event goals and effective communication. In this role, I managed and encouraged numerous volunteer committees, recruited and networked with sponsors and community officials, created individual communication and marketing plans for communities, and executed a fundraising portfolio with the ACS mission in mind.
Alpha Delta Pi Sorority Inc., Leadership Consultant
In this one-year contracted role, I was one of 12 national candidates selected to travel the U.S. on behalf of the organization. With a specialization in recruitment strategy, marketing, and communication, I utilized a strategic mindset to execute an impartial business analysis of chapter operations. Additionally, I assisted in creating a vision for future operation models via customized marketing and communication plans. This role also utilized my skills in community-building, public speaking, and program management.
University of Delaware, Social Media Marketing Intern
As an undergraduate student, I interned on two occasions with the Communication and Public Affairs Office at UD. This was one of my first professional introductions to social media marketing, the importance of strong copywriting, an engaging voice, collaborative teamwork, and the importance of higher education.
Young Counsulting LLC., Marketing Consulting Intern
Crafted unique and strategic marketing and social media plans for local small businesses in Wilmington and Newark, DE. Additionally, created marketing pitches for the deployment of those plans.
Delaware Children’s Museum, Marketing and Communication Intern
As an intern, I worked on an array of museum communications ranging from press releases, to social media posts, to advertisements, and internal publications. I’m beyond grateful for my first internship with an organization that served the youth of Wilmington, Delaware through exploration and imagination.

Volunteer Experience
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer - For eight years, I’ve fundraised as part of my mom’s American Cancer Society team, “Keep Calm and Pink On,” to raise money for cancer research. Our team is consistently in the top 20 teams for the Point Pleasant event, one of the largest in the U.S. and we’ve raised more than 40K for breast cancer research!
The Graeme Preston Foundation For Life - After the tragic death of a young family friend, this foundation was created to spread joy, love, and a passion for soccer. For 10+ years, I helped organize the gift basket and silent auction fundraising initiatives, raising more than $50,000 since the foundation’s inception.
